Privacy Policy

RuneDrop (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is built to be private by default. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. By using RuneDrop you agree to this policy.

The short version

Voice data

RuneDrop’s optional voice control uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition to turn short commands (such as “left,” “rotate,” or “drop”) into in-game actions. Audio is processed on your device and is not recorded, stored, or sent to us. Microphone access is requested only when you enable voice play and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings. If you never enable voice, the microphone is never used.

Gameplay data

Your progress, settings, unlocked realms and best scores are stored locally on your device (and in your private iCloud account if iCloud sync is enabled by your system). We do not have access to this data.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, leaderboard and achievement data is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We only receive the scores you choose to submit. Game Center is optional.

Purchases

RuneDrop offers a single one-time “RuneDrop Pro” in-app purchase to unlock all realms. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. There are no subscriptions.

Analytics & diagnostics

Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash and performance reports through App Store Connect if you have enabled sharing in your device Settings. These reports do not identify you.

Children

RuneDrop is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data, no special parental action is required.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
